For a newbie like myself, you talked about not just what you wanted, but the reasoning behind it and the options you could’ve jumped on and why you settled for what you did. I just started fly-fishing (like in the last week! Caught my first wee one last night on a nymph with a 5 weight rod combo, also Hardy, Ross reel) so in the not too distant future I will need to get some stuff. In the meantime, my rubber boots will have to do, as slippery as they are. And a garbage bag for a raincoat. Haha.
